iPhone 4G
There is so much buzz and rumours on the next iPhone, i.e. iPhone 4G which people say is slated to get launched in June/July 2010 but we are yet to hear confirmed news on that.
Still with clue of the recently found iPhone in a train, the speculation and analysis of the new set has already created buzz amongst the Apple enthusiasts globally.
We will wait again when Steve Jobs launch it sometime in mid 2010. With the available info around the web, the below could be the feature highlights coming in iPhone 4G, check this with the courtesy of Gizmodo:
What’s new in iPhone 4g
• Front-facing video chat camera
• Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
• Camera flash
• Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
• Improved display. It’s unclear if it’s the 960×640 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the “Connect to iTunes” screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
• What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
• Split buttons for volume
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic
What’s changed
• The back is entirely flat, made of either glass (more likely) or ceramic or shiny plastic in order for the cell signal to poke through. Tapping on the back makes a more hollow and higher pitched sound compared to tapping on the glass on the front/screen, but that could just be the orientation of components inside making for a different sound
• An aluminum border going completely around the outside
• Slightly smaller screen than the 3GS (but seemingly higher resolution)
• Everything is more squared off
• 3 grams heavier
• 16% Larger battery
• Internals components are shrunken, miniaturized and reduced to make room for the larger battery

Did you know that your cell phone can cause brain tumor?
Cell-phone industry is on cloud nine with companies launching new products each day. Each passing moment is being spent on research and development to create smartphones with more user-friendly feature. Big amount of money is being spent on advertisements and the buzzing news across all ages is what’s the latest from Nokia or is iPhone better than Blackberry?
But the underlying question is-Are we aware that this cell phone can create havoc health hazards?
When we communicate through our mobile phones or use them to download music or while time by seeing a movie or even use it to shop around, we are in a constant process being exposed to electromagnetic radiation. A group of researchers who have teamed up with Radiation Research Trust in UK, organizations such as Powerwatch and EMR Policy Institute, US, have pointed out the glaring fact that the over the years cell phone industry has not given much attention to the threats of radiation.
Are we not the guinea pigs who are being the subject of experiment to gauge the effects of exposure to cellphone radiation?
Public is not informed that exposure to electromagnetic radiation from cellphone lead to increased risk of:
- Brain tumors
- Eye Cancer
- Salivary gland tumors
- Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
- Leukemia
- Testicular cancer
It has been also reported that children are more prone to brain tumor than adults, while the telecom industry undermines this glaring reality.
The arguing facts that make headlines is cell phone has ushered a whole new era of communication and its advantages always outweigh the ill effects. There exist opiniated views that argue cellphones kept closer to ears might be the leading cause of these problems, so the companies have launched hands-free mobile devices. Last but not the least, today’s people strives for a smarter life besieged with harmful gadgets than leading a complete healthy life.
But still I would request one and all to lessen the use of mobile phones and to keep in mind this truth while using them.
Arguable points are always welcome! Also check if you are suffering from ‘NOMOPHOBIA”
